The Pectoralis major group consists of Pec major and Pec minor.

This group of muscles are involved in almost every movement our arms make. They allow us to move our arms laterally, vertically and also assist in rotation. Your pecs also assist with deep breathing.

If you are experiencing restrictions in breathing or pain in the chest that is not related to a heart condition you may need your precs treated. The Pectoralis muscles are involved in bench press, chest dips, cable fly, pec deck and push-ups. If you participate in checst building exercises you may be noticing limited range of motion when extending the arm or your shoulders may be rolling forward.
